Abstract/Summary
This paper will seek to examine the effects of the changes made by the new law on the efficacy of arbitration as a mode of dispute resolution in the Philippines. The researcher will determine the strong and weak points of the Philippine arbitration system in comparison with the most common requirements needed by the parties and their counsel in selecting a jurisdiction for their arbitral venue.
