Abstract/Summary
This study aimed to investigate whether Transformational Leadership Style and personality types of Openness to Experience, Conscientiousness and Agreeableness increases the level of Occupational Self-Efficacy among employees who work in a virtual setting from selected institutions in Metro Manila, Philippines. The study also examined whether Degree of Virtuality could moderate the relationship between these variables. The study further explored how employees and leaders contribute to the level of Occupational Self-Efficacy. There were 400 participants who answered the Transformational Leadership Scale, Big Five Inventory (BF-44), Virtuality Index and Occupational Self-Efficacy Scale Short-Form (OSS-SF). Furthermore, 97 out of the 400 participants answered the open-ended questions for employees. There were 20 supervisors of the participants who answered the open-ended questions for leaders.
