Mobile gambling has entirely changed the form of the gambling industry. It has been the new craze in other countries. However, in the Philippines, it has yet to be introduced. The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, the government regulatory agency on gambling, has been lobbying to introduce mobile gambling in the country but it faces at lot of legal, social, and moral issues. This paper tackles the issues of mobile gambling. A thorough study and discussion on the legal aspect, particularly on whether mobile gambling is included in the jurisdictional powers and scope of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, has been made. Also, this paper tackles the social and moral issues of gambling. Included in this paper are the perspectives of the different stakeholders of gambling. More importantly, this paper proposes several recommendations on mobile gambling.
