Abstract/Summary
This action research was conducted to help address the declining performance grades of a team of specialists in a real estate company. The focus of the study was limited on the efficiency performances rendered by a team of specialists within the accounts management department of the company- Servicing group and the Engagement group and how the efficiency performance of the Servicing group (support/ documentation arm of the dept.) through their reopening target affects the efficiency performance of the Engagement group (client-facing arm of the department). Given that the focus of the study is a team of specialist handling Ready-for-occupancy accounts by which clients were allowed to use the units under lease-to-own terms, the paper also explored on the relationship of the Reopening (account cancellation) process to performance grade. Also, to have a better understanding about the timeline and the tasks needed to accomplish by all groups involved for a successful closure of a delinquent account. Moreover, the paper dealt with the effective strategies for process improvement and also improving grade efficiency performances of the specialists monitoring these accounts as part of their monthly targets.
