Abstract/Summary

This action research is about improving the maintenance system of plants and green spaces of Dr. Yangas Colleges, Inc. (DYCI) to position it as a green school. The methodology used is the action research cycle wherein the team collaboratively worked together in its four sequential stages of (1) constructing the issue, (2) planning the intervention, (3) implementing the action, and (4) evaluating the action. The health and life of plants and green spaces within DYCI campus was improved within two cycles of the action research. First, by creating a daily routine schedule of the maintenance personnel. Second, by building a deep well to produce fresh water. The interventions significantly improved the health and life of green spaces and plants inside the campus which contributes meaningfully to the development of DYCI to be positioned as a green school.
