Abstract/Summary
This study attempted to use the PPBS cost analysis on a high school program, particularly the 1976-1977 operation of the high school department of St. Mary's Academy of Meycauayan, Bulacan. It attempted to find out in approximate figures how much was spent per year level program, per student and whether or not the tuition income was enough to pay the total expenses. This study started with the gathering of data from the student (SMA-Meycauayan), needed for a PPBS cost analysis. The analysis involved two general steps : first step was to translate the traditional line-budget into a program budget and the second step was the development and presentation of a workload matrix whose coefficients determined the income and expenditure allocation. Not only does the study provide the output of how much was spent for a program, but other data which could be bases for comparison, evaluation and decision making concerning planning, programming and budgeting.
