Abstract/Summary

Information Technology is not just about computers, softwares or services. It is a combination of all these elements, capped by a vision on how technology can help an organization reach its goals. An example of which is creating an information system for the Church in Manila which is the subject of this study.

The Church in Manila needs a system that will meet its ever-increasing demands with three main requirements. A Membership Module that keeps a record of all its members, attendance and activities a Library Module that maintains an inventory of its book collection and manages the borrowers and a Bookstore Module that keeps track of the sales and inventory of christian books.

A thorough analysis of the requirements followed by a review of current literature provided the backdrop for the design of the system.
