Abstract/Summary

The European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Excellence Model is a non-prescriptive framework and the most comprehensive and prevailing quality model which is applied in many countries and sectors. The EFQM model is based on nine criteria divided into two parts five are enablers, and four are results. This study uses the EFQM Model as self assessment tool to identify the strengths, weakness gaps and areas that needs improvement in order to achieve studied company excellence. Regarding gained scores and goal access percentage in excellence Model, it is observed that leadership and key result are the strength point of studied company. On the other hand people and people result are achieved lowest score. This study emphasized the weaknesses as improvement areas and presented some solutions to the company's top managers.
