Abstract/Summary

The business setting has been through haven and rough times. The continuous changing macroenvironment ought companies to change as well. The Home Furnishing Industry is not an exception and must adapt to survive the competition and gain profits through just means.

San Jose Glass Corporation (SJGC) manufactures glassware products. It subcontracts other furnishings that complement with its glass items. Being in the Home Furnishing Industry, SJGC face threats such as higher inflation rate, interest rate, and foreign exchange rates, the dwindling supply of raw materials, the cheap labor cost in China, higher unemployment rate and lower literacy rate.
