Abstract/Summary

This study presents vital statements to be reflected in an administrative and faculty handbook to help administrators, faculty members, and non-teaching personnel of St. Bridget's School, Buhi, Camarines Sur in their tasks of enhancing their roles in the organizational set-up. The method used in this study is descriptive. St. Bridget's School in Buhi, Camarines Sur is chosen as the subject for this study. Sources of data included samples of handbooks from different schools, pertinent school records, results of the orientation seminar held by the faculty and non-teaching personnel, personal interviews and conferences with the principal, consultations in connection with legal implications for items included in the handbook, and project studies made on the subject. From all these materials a close-ended type of questionnaire for St. Bridget's School was formulated. Responses from 24 of St. Bridget's School, administrative, teaching and non-teaching personnel were received by the researcher. The responses were tallied and the suggestions were taken note of. The draft of the proposed handbook was then prepared and a copy sent to the principal for final editing and criticism.
