Abstract/Summary
There is conflict between the faculty of St. Claires High School and the principal. It involves parents and students. It reaches its peak one month before graduation day. Fr. Borromeo had to make a decision as soon as possible. It is one month before graduation day. He had to prepare for his trip abroad. What decision or decisions will he make? If he gives in to the teachers petition not to retain the current principal next school year, that would make the sister leave St. Claires High School dishonorably. The sister is willing to stay in spite of the conflicts with the teachers and the students. Her high academic qualification was cited as an asset by the DEC for St. Claires High School. If she goes, he will have the problem of looking for a new principal because not one of his faculty is qualified for the position as required by the DEC. This case exemplifies the behavioral and financial aspects of management. It focuses on relationship. Alternative actions in solution to the problem posed on this case were recommended by the writer on the latter part of the paper.
