Abstract/Summary

Eastern Communication, Inc. is a telecommunication enterprise. This paper is purposed to formulate appropriate strategies for this company to cope with intense competition in telecommunication industry.

The first part of this paper is the analysis of external environments. These external environments are China's current economic situation, China's entry into WTO, global and domestic telecommunication industry and market, government policies and regulations for telecommunication industry and global and domestic competitors. Through the analysis of these external environments, opportunities and threats for the company are identified.

The second part of third paper is the analysis of internal situation. In this part, the company's various perspectives such as R&D, marketing, production, finance, finance and human resource are assessed. Through the assessment, the company s strengths and weaknesses are identified.

The third part of this paper is the strategy formulation according to SWOT analysis. The corresponding implementations are developed in this part.
