Abstract/Summary
Certified Sales Tire Center has been operating as a tire dealer with six branches. It has services that deals with all around automobile repairs from simple alignments to collisions. It also sells all the brands of car batteries in the market, a vast majority of auto parts and is a franchise dealer of Mobil Oils. It is a one stop shop. Like Car Dealer's service centers, CSTC can do all your car needs at a fraction of the cost, a fraction of the time and a highly personalized service. It is a no frills shop. It has no air-conditioned lounges either nor numerous service attendants and other frills car dealers offer (TV, Coffee). But it has a customer phone and seats where one can read magazines or look while the car is being done. You actually interact with the mechanic and you see how your car is being fixed.
The objective of the paper is to use Strategic Management in improving the overall operation and business of the company. Being a family company, it is now the tremendous task and humongous task of the author to improve the firm. Being the second generation, pressure is very strong to improve and expand. They say, the first generation builds it, the second improves it, the third wastes it . My objective is to make sure the third won't waste all our efforts. But before that, I need to do my role....improving it.
