Abstract/Summary

Scheduling technology is growing in popularity in universities and the industry, aligning with some of the strategic initiatives that are transforming campus communications. Technology and business trends such as the need for connectivity, mobile communications, environmental awareness, cost reduction and revenue generations are driving the push towards electronic scheduling on campus. The project was characterized by business process improvement with the use of information technology. Scheduling system has evolved to a completely web-based model, which access resource information through web browser. CSB Online Resource schEduler or CORE is a system that offers online resource reservation to facilitate better internal communication. This solution helps streamline scheduling needs of the users and ensure that they have the right resources in place to accommodate their needs.
