This strategic management paper is primarily about developing a strategic vision, setting performance objectives, crafting and implementing strategies for LBP Leasing Corporation and controlling/evaluating the implementation of these strategies in order to make the necessary corrective adjustments.
The threats to the financial services/intermediaries industry are:
o Slowing GDP which decreases from 6.1% (2004) to 5.1% (2005)
o Increase in inflation rate from 4.8% (2004) to 7.6% (2005)
o Decrease in Treasury Bills rate from 7.2% (2004) to 6.4% (2005)
o Political Instability and
o Corruption in the government.
