Abstract/Summary
This study discusses the realization of the fuzzy logic application in a robust model known as a Monitoring System, which simulates a process in testing the qualitative accuracy of biodiesel using known parameters namely Hotpoint, Cloudpoint and Viscosity that are measured using an ordinary thermometer for Hotpoint and Cloudpoint and a flow meter for the Viscosity. The quality assurance is implemented using a Visual Basic Program, which interprets the quality of biodiesel output by sending data to the program coming from the user. The information used by the user comes from the thermometer reading and flow meter reading embedded in the device. In the fuzzy logic program, a mathematical model is created using the Triangular and Trapezoid functions and Mamdani Inference system in order to fuzzify the characterization of the parameters namely Hotpoint, Cloudpoint and Viscosity to mathematically manipulate them to determine the quality of biodiesel produced.
