Abstract/Summary
As the cost of hardware and software systems go down, information technology is becoming more and more accessible to less sophisticated users and organizations. The New Millennium Evangelical Church (NMEC) is an example of such an organization and creating its information system is the subject of this thesis.
The NMEC needs a system that encompasses the following general requirements: A Membership Module that keeps a record of all the members of the organization a Ministry Service Module that provides a record of ministry services and activities a Reservation Module that maintains a record of prayer/visitation requests, assignments, visitations, and room schedules and a Finance Module that handles the finances of an organization.
A thorough analysis of the requirements followed by a review of current literature and technology provide the backdrop for the design of the system.
