Abstract/Summary

This thesis proposal evaluates the existing Homeroom Guidance Program of Notre Dame of Greater Manila, using the summative Input, Process, and Product evaluation model by Stufflebeam. The study uses the descriptive type of research which includes the three of four phases of evaluation, namely: Input, Process, and Product evaluation. The respondents of the study are the 280 students of the homeroom guidance program from first year to fourth year, school year 1991-1992, the 30 teachers who handle the homeroom guidance class, three administrators and 3 guidance counselors. The stratified random sample of 280 first to fourth year students will be selected from a population of 1,440 using year level as stratum. The sample size will be determined using the Table of Sample Sizes for Random Sampling of Finite and Infinite Population (De Jesus, et al, 1984) based on a significance level of .05 and an error margin of .10 standard deviation.
