Abstract/Summary

In this information Age, the service sector little by little conquers the market share of other sectors like Industry, Agriculture With the changes in our environment especially in technology that effect our lifes condition, standard and style. Obviously, with advanced technology that makes our lives become more convenience. Not only living but it also helps us to work more efficiency. Well, this is probably a trend in our generation toward the next millennium with the world is getting smaller, we don't have to worry to much of how to survive but to enjoy the result of hardship in our lives. Now, with advanced technology, machine, a worker is getting more and more efficient than before. People will get paid more because of this efficiency. On the other hand, industry and agriculture would need less and less human workforce in their operation. Service sector expansion is the result of the trend whereas they provide services in such way that it would make things become convenience. AMF Puyat together with its own passionate saw the trend several decades ago. This is a kind of business that provides people a special service. It is special because people goes there not only can enjoy themselves with families. Friends but also give themselves exercises. Just imagine, after a tiring day of working, people goes there just to play bowl. When they play the game, they would forget all those problems, difficulties in daily life. Instead, they would play, compete with other players, have a lot of fun and enjoy each other. After finish playing, they come with probably sweat body and tiring muscle, but a fresh mind with happiness.

The industry has been existing for long time already, but with advanced technology supporting, different ways of service have been developed to satisfy same needs and wants. However, aside from the expansion of the industry, its competition pressure is also growing rapidly. This is rather than a natural reaction of human, when the demand increases, the supply has the tendency to increase to satisfy the demand. A business minded person would see this trend early and take the opportunity. The early a business grabs its opportunity by using its strength, the more chances it will be success. Aside from academic purpose, this paper will be served as a strategic recommendation for AMF Puyat Entertainment Group particularly, in order to achieve its objectives, for its success.
