Abstract/Summary
The term paper started with the definition of the companys industry and the environment. The definition of the industry was based on Michael Porters definition a group of companies that produce goods or services, which are close substitutes of each other, since they satisfy the same needs and wants. Thus, Manila Jockey Club Inc. belongs to the Gaming Industry, which includes any activity involving skill, chance, or endurance on the part of two or more persons who play according to a set of rules, usually for their own amusement or for that of spectators. This industry includes all forms of gambling, both legal and illegal and all professional sports.
