BASF Coating + Inks Philippines. Inc. (BCIP) can be broadly categorized under the Chemical Industry, which by definition means: any business entity engaged in the activity of chemical manufacturing as well as those entities providing products and services to chemical manufacturing companies. The chemical industry is formally divided into sub-sectors, and BASF Coatings + Inks Philippines, Inc, herein referred to as BCIP, falls under Surface Coatings Sub-sector comprising of the paints, adhesives, printing inks & specialty sectors.
This paper discusses the Corporate Strategy for BASF Coatings + Inks Philippines, Inc. (BCIP), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of BASF Coatings AG of Muenster, Germany. It was formerly known as The Ault & Wiborg Company (F.E.) owned by the Inmont Corporation of U.S>A The company serves a wide range of markets with quality automotive paints, container coatings, printing inks and resins/varnishes.
BASF has mapped out a guiding path for the companys success. This is articulated in the companys Vision 2010, which is the blueprint for BASF in the century to come.
