This study of strategic management is being conducted for one of the banks in Indonesia, PT Bank X* (PTBX).
INDUSTRY DEFINITION
The industry defined in this study is financial service. It satisfies the customers needs and wants for keeping money safely by accepting deposits and other repayable funds from the public getting credit for their investment opportunity by borrowing consumer credit, mortgage credit, financing of commercial transactions financing leasing all forms of payment and money transmission trading for own account on for the account of customers on money market instruments, foreign exchange, derivative products, securities, money broking, asset management, settlement and clearing services, provision and transfer of financial information and advisory, intermediation and other auxiliary financial services such as safe deposit box, acceptance of telephone, electric, and water bill payments.
