The future holds a wealth of opportunities for companies as they move into the twenty-first century. Technological advances promise to change the world as we know it. The use of Information Technology (IT) has changed the way business are conducted around the world.

In todays competitive business environment where corporate information strongly influence the decision-making process, one must keep abreast of the latest innovation and development in the business document design, to improve profit margin and strengthen customer relationship.

New computer and communication technologies are obviously transforming the peoples way of life. They are the basis of the many changes in the telecommunications system and also in manufacturing and transportation and in the office. They are changing the forms and delivery of government services. Information products and services have become a major and still rapidly growing component of the economy.

The use of information technology is critical to the success of an organization. The powerful forces of globalization and technological advances are causing todays markets to change at an incredible pace. Also, the phenomenal growth of the Internet is changing the way people and companies do business today. And this is happening globally. These are just some of the prospects in the information processing industry.

Software Brewers, Inc. (SBI) is a company in the Philippines specializing in software research and development (R&D). Founded in 1987, it dedicates itself to the development of cutting-edge software tools and application for the world market.

SBI belongs to the Information Processing industry. The strengths, weaknesses, personal values, opportunities, threats and societal expectation were used as bases in the formulation of strategies to achieve the objectives of the company.
