Abstract/Summary
The thrust of this study is to be able to come up with a system to facilitate the acquisition of skills that could help maintain the computer and its programs. This thesis contains the knowledge gained about computer assembly and installation of software from the actual training at Production Department of Advance Microsystems Corporation (AMC). An instruction manual, a practicum project, had been created to assist trainors who would be training the training of other trainees in the same company. The study plan included the background of the company, objectives of the practicum, and the significance of the practicum project. It discusses the practicum schedule, type of training undergone, problems encountered and solutions, and the lessons learned during the conduct of the training. An overview of the whole practicum project is given and the five categories of learning the processes it involve with recommendations for future trainees and the company. Finally, an assessment of the practicum program and the project for the company is given.
