Abstract/Summary

The seeriousness of the "energy crisis" is being given special attention. To understand the problem related to energy use in connection with other factors in the surroundings that are vital to it, is not an easy task. It requires the understanding of an extremely complex system. Such system involves many variables interacting with each other, reacting to changes in each other, and so on.
The researcher constructed a model with five variables based from information obtained from MERALCO, Pasay branch, on August, 1996. This model is interpreted using the results available in this paper.
This study uses a weighted directed graph to model a system related to energy problems. Then, this weighted directed graph is interpreted using Linear Algebra.
Chapter 3 of this study descrives modeling of systems, Chapter 4 introduces a specific rule for the change of value of the variables. Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 give criteria for a system (through the model) to be stable. Finally, Chapter 7 interprets the system introduced in Chapter 3 using the results of Chapter 4,Chapter 5 and Chapter 6.
