Abstract/Summary
Conventional industrial telemetering systems that employ a dedicated pair of wires for each sensor, encounter growing wiring problems as the number of primary detectors increases. This paper presents a novel technique to accommodate several sensors on a single stretch of RG-58/U coaxial cable. Remote information from distant primary detectors were extracted using time-domain reflectometry. A summative set of equations is appended to facilitate related design applications.
