Abstract/Summary
The terpenoid components of the Stolonifer Clavularia inflata were studied. A novel diterpene (49) with a methyl migrated dolabellane carbon skeleton was isolated together with three known clavularane compounds (19), (20), and (21). Compound (49) was initially isolated in its acetylated form (50) then hydrolyzed to give the novel compound. The structures of (49), (50), and (21) were elucidated by extensive ID and 2D NMR Analyses. The structures of (19) and (20) were determined by comparing their proton NMR spectra with those previously reported.
