Abstract/Summary
The basic unit of organization of our educational system is the classroom. The classroom environment is where interactions occur among students, teachers and curriculum. The interactions in the classroom create an environment that affects both attitudes and achievement of students. This study was designed primarily to find out the relationship of attitude toward classroom environment with attitude toward and achievement in geometry among third year high school students at the University of the Philippines at Los Banos Rural High School. The classroom environment which includes the emotional climate of the geometry classroom, the Geometry curriculum, the physical environment of the Geometry classroom, the Geometry teacher, other students in the Geometry classroom and friends' attitude toward geometry are the independent variables while attitude toward geometry and achievement in geometry are the dependent variables.
