Abstract/Summary
The purpose of the study of part one was to develop a Homeroom Career Guidance Program with emphasis on information service, to help the students know more of their strengths and weaknesses, interests and aptitudes, capacities and limitations, field of work, job opportunities, and salaries and benefits of the work. Specifically, the study seeks to answer the following: 1. What are the existing guidance services in Western Visayas College of Science and Technology? 2. What are the career guidance needs of the fourth year high scholl students of Western Visayas College of Science and Technology and its implications of Homeroon Guidance Program?
Part two: The primary purpose of this study was to develop a career monograph on radio and television electronics technician. Specifically, the objective of the study was to find out the nature of the work of an electronics technician in radio and television. It sought to know the answers to the following questions" a. What are the working conditions of radio and television electronics technician? b. What are the minimum requirements in entering the job? c. How much do electronics technicians received every month? d. What are the opportunities for advancement from the job? e. Are there opportunities for employment awaiting an electronics technician?
The descriptive research method was used in this study. Specifically, the study wanted to gather information through a questionnaire developed by the researcher regarding the working conditions, requirements in entering the job, salaries, allowances and other benefits, advancement and employment opportunities.
