Abstract/Summary
The Vestibular Diagnostic Chair aims to provide assistance to the doctor in diagnosing vestibular problems. It aims to help the local medical community to treat economically marginalized patients who need attention to alleviate their ailing conditions.
The Vestibular Diagnostic Chair composes of a rotary chair, a video goggles, and a software which tracks the eyes and generates a graphical output to be interpreted by the doctor. The rotary chair is used to stimulate the movement of the eyes. The video goggle is used to capture the moving eye. The software is utilized to track the movement of the eye.
The experimental trials of this thesis as tested, has achieved accurate results. The group has been recommended that clinical tests be conducted.
