Abstract/Summary
The main focus of the study is to determine the effect of demographics, financial literacy, saving behavior, and financial management on retirement confidence. This causal research included 721 out of 1235 female public school teachers from district V of the city of Manila, 30 of which were used for testing the validity of the survey questionnaire using Cronbach's alpha. Results were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and were tested for violation of assumptions using heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, and autocorrelation. The study concluded with demographics and financial literacy having no significant effect while financial management and savings behavior having a significant effect on retirement confidence.
