Abstract/Summary
The study is about how to evaluate an at-grade signalized intersection given its geometric, traffic and signalization conditions. Information regarding these conditions are determined and manipulated in order to obtain the capacity and level-of-service of the intersection under study. Once this is achieved the capacity and level-of-service of the intersection are compared and evaluated because both are dependent on the other. The adequacy of the intersection regarding its efficiency in handling the present traffic flow demand will now be known.
