Abstract/Summary
The study was initiated and undertaken by the Philippine Council for Advanced Science and Technology Research and Development (under the Department of Science and Technology). The focus of the study is how to develop an Intelligent Computer-Aided Instruction system on high school trigonometry. Such system is to be used by Filipino public high school students and Trigonometry teachers.The ICAI-Trigonometry system (software) is capable of teaching the fundamental concepts on high school Trigonometry. The system also provides for drills, tests, performance evaluation, remedial instruction and student database maintenance. Finally, the system allows additions to the lesson databases through the ICAI Utilities (lesson editors).
