Abstract/Summary
TawaWhatta Teacher! is a situation comedy television program set in a private coed high school run by nuns. It shows the antics and experiences of teachers. A refreshing change for the telefantasya-ridden Philippine TV, the show allows the students inside the faculty room, where the usually godly teacher will be seen in the humanized form. An unusual mix of a closet gay, a nearly senile bipolar and a boisterous motherly figure within the school provide the rich comedic stories of the show. Throw in a few more loony characters and a new comical picture of a high school is captured.
