Abstract/Summary
The thesis proposal is all about a VHF/UHF automatic director. The project is to obtain the optimum signal set by a reference point for UHF and VHF channels such as 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 13, 21, 23, 29 and 31. It is divided into three main parts: the module, the driver, and the antenna. The module will be responsible for obtaining the optimum signal set by the reference voltage, it will consist of the tuner and the signal meter. The signal from the tuner will be the input for the driver circuit. This circuit will be responsible for rotating the antenna. Two antennas will be used, one for the UHF and the other for the VHF.The purpose of this project is to automate the rotation of the antenna by getting the set signal or optimum signal for the channel. The system can be operated manually by a switch. The thesis present the improvements of manually operated rotator antannas, such as automating the motor by using a tuner and a signal meter.
