Abstract/Summary

This study is about the teacher evaluation of the Headstart Teacher Training Program of 2007. Sibol teachers of Gawad kalinga are given the opportunity to rate the training program according to Daniel Stufflebeam's CIPP (Context-Input-Process Product) evaluation model. 15 teachers out of all the participants who attended the Headstart Training Program were the main participants of this study.

In this study, several areas of the training program are identified sucha as a) Context - goals and evaluation of the Headstart teacher training program. b) Input - human resources, physical resources, and financial. c) Process - program, overview, curricular content and program implementation and d) Product - assessment and evaluation.

The researchers were able to identify the areas for improvement and the strengths of each aspect throughout the study such as the length of the training program, the accessibility of the venue which the Headstart progam was held, the assessment of each participant and the consistency of the facilitators that handled each group.
