Abstract/Summary

This study is about the dynamics of policy-making. This research entitled: The Dynamics of the Legislative Process: Focus on the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade tackled the circuitious process of policy-making. Furthermore the major steps involved in the ratification of GATT was analyzed and discussed through comparing the major steps involved in the making of bill into law.

In the case of GATT, this study found out the difference between how a treaty is ratified and how a bill or resolution is adopted into law. The five (5) major steps of Legislation was narrowed down into three.

Furthermore this study serves as a reference material in the study of the Philippine Legislative Process.
