Abstract/Summary
The SERIAL CONNECTION SWITCH (SCS) is a Z80 microprocessor based switching system that supports simple RS-232C communication by physically connecting the TxD, RxD, DTR, DSR and GND lines of the serial ports. The rationale for the switching system is to allow connection and disconnection between computer systems, both compatible and incompatible provided they support RS-232 communications. Communication between these computer systems is handled by any data communication softwares.
