Abstract/Summary
Sea stars, brittle stars and sea urchins were collected in Talin Bay, Matuod, Lian, Batangas during the months of August of 1993 up to February of 1994. Identification of theses species was done using the key to identification by Geronimo (1987), and verified by the Department of Echinology of the Philippine National Museum. The four species of sea stars belong to one subphylum, one class, one subclass, one order, three families and three genera. The nine species of brittle stars belong to one subphylum, one class, one subclass one order, two suborders, three families and five genera. The four species of sea urchins belong to one subphylum, one class, one subclass, one superorder, two orders, one suborder, three families and three genera.
