Abstract/Summary
This study aims to develop a microcontroller-based load controller for Micro Hydro System with Grid Integration and GSM Capability. The load controller that will be used in the study is made up of MOSFET and MOSFET Gate Drivers. The goal of the study is to automate all procedures in the system by means of Fuzzy logic as control scheme with different sensors like voltage, current and frequency as its input. Furthermore, grid standards in terms of voltage and frequency were achieved by using inverters. Along with the GSM, another feature of this study is the Bluetooth connectivity via an Android phone. The behavior of the system can be monitored using an application that can help the operation of the Micro Hydro System. When these two wireless modes of communication were tested in terms of reliability, frames sent were equivalent to frames received.
