Abstract/Summary
A survey of marine gastropods was conducted last May 1991 in the Western portion of Marinduque particularly in the towns of Cawit, Gasan and Laylay. The 3 towns have rocky to sandy substratum. Collection of shells were done only on the intertidal zone. A total of 123 species of marine gastropod shells were collected, identified and classified into 3 subclasses, 5 orders, 3 suborders, 16 superfamilies, 31 families and 51 genera.
