This study discusses and contributes to the study of urban-rural migration and its evidence in the certain rural areas in the Philippines. Through the interviews, themes were drawn out from the statements made by the participants. Content analysis was the method utilized and the lived experiences of the participants were used as units of analysis. The themes were then categorized into 6 that further helped develop the study. These involved stressors of urban living, personal disadvantages of urban cities, favorable living conditions, feeling of being part of a community, the sense of happiness, and positive change in personal qualities. The results highlighted factors of urban living that had urged participants to migrate and also showed evidences of that the participants physical, emotional and social well-being had improved after moving to the locale.
