Abstract/Summary
The focus of the study is the Capability Building Program of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor. The study aims to find out what has resulted from the Capability Building Program of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor particularly amongst leaders of the urban poor organizations. The research used both the descriptive and evaluative research designs. Data were gathered from journals, books, studies and researches from the De La Salle University library, profiles of urban poor organizations and interviews. The study has found out that the Capability Building Program of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor has partially achieved its goals. Its goal of forming a consolidated group in Quezon City was not achieved. Thus claimed ineffective.
