Abstract/Summary
In this thesis, the group proposed a web-based Computer-Aided Instruction about the Fundamentals of Mobile Video Communications using Moodle. This is a project aimed to facilitate and stimulate the learning of students regarding the current and fast-rising technology on Mobile Video Communications. The contents of the topic were focused on five important topics: Basic of Multimedia Communications, Evolution of Mobile Networks, Multimedia Coding Application, Circuit-Switched Networks for Video Telephony, and Mobile Packet Networks for Video Telephony. There are four end-of-chapter quizzes composed of thirty items per quiz and four long quizzes composed of 50 items per quiz to help assess what the students have learned after each chapter. Pages were integrations of the Moodle interface, and pages made from Macromedia Flash 8.
