Abstract/Summary
This study is a descriptive study which takes a look at the family of the mistress as reported by the child. It looks at the interaction between family members, the roles taken up by each one in the absence of the father, the family's problems and their coping behavior and the values they hold. The researchers used the indigenous method of pakikipagkwentuhan with 9 children of mistresses. The study found out that the children of mistresses tend to be close to their mother.
