Abstract/Summary

This study attempted to look into the level of job satisfaction of employees with high-risk jobs. It also attempted to differentiate between the job satisfaction of old and new employees. Purposive sampling was employed in getting the respondents for this study. The respondents consisted of 87 employees with high-risk jobs. The researchers made use of a standardized scale that will measure Job Satisfaction, specifically the Job Description Index. Descriptive Statistics were used to analyze the results. The t-test for Independent Groups was used to contrast the two groups. Results indicated that there was a moderately high job satisfaction among employees with high-risk jobs but there was no significant difference between the job satisfaction of old and new employees.
