Inventory control system may not only be essential for large scale businesses, but smaller firms with limited personnel available are also finding computer-based inventory control system an indispensable tool for the inventory activities of their organization. The Jobber Inventory Control System is intended to provide a systematic procedure for reordering, processing, inputting and report generation of inventory activities of TONI-TINKLE MARKETING, a jobber related type of organization. This system supports the concept of inventory management, which emphasizes planning to avoid sudden stockouts, frauds, theft, and stricter control of inventory changes. The Jobber Inventory Control System (JICS) attempts to satisfy the basic needs associated with the daily business transaction processing. It can be noted that this inventory system has the capability to perform inventory, decision-making tasks efficiently, and in larger volumes in a much shorter time span with a lot more processing accuracy than a manual system. Generation of reports is another feature of this system, reports generated from this system would certainly be of great use for management in their day to day decision-making process. This system would only work if used properly.
