Abstract/Summary
It is generally accepted that the Inventory Control Application System is one of the most extensively computerized of all the major business functions. Inventory Control System may not only be necessary for large business firms, but smaller firms with limited personnel available are also finding Computer-Based Inventory Control an indispensable necessity and a helpful aid for the proper performance of the inventory activities of the firm.The Multico's Inventory Control System is intended to provide orderly procedures for the recording, processing and report-generating of inventory activities for the organization. It supports the concept of inventory management, which emphasizes planning to avoid sudden stockouts, frauds, and stricter control of inventory changes. Furthermore, it will support the concept of audit management in an attempt to keep track of the activities of the branches.This system attempts to satisfy the basic needs associated with the daily business transactions processing. It can be noted that the Inventory Control System has the capability to perform these tasks efficiently, and in larger volumes in a shorter time span with such more processing accuracy in comparison to the manual system. In addition, this Computerized Inventory Control Application System could also be used for the generation of reports which is of great decision-making value to management if used properly.
