Abstract/Summary
This study specifically deals with the behavioral changes that occurred after the querida left the relationship. The researchers made use of a descriptive research design. The in-depth interview method was used in data collection. Ten female queridas living in Metro Manila were chosen as subjects for the study. The results showed that the behavioral changes under the positive aspects that occurred after the querida left the relationship are social, spiritual, financial, and emotional. The negative aspects that occurred after the querida left the relationship are the social, emotional, financial and family aspects. With regard to the querida's new goals and aspirations, they are as follows: for their children to finish schooling, to live a happy family life, continue working. The researchers also studied the new self-concept of the querida.
