Abstract/Summary

Salita is a short film that will feature three kids from different linguistic backgrounds who are trying to interact with each other despite their language barriers. William, Juancho, and Sam are brought up by Chinese families from different parts of Luzon. Each of them has a different mother-tongue, and when circumstances force them to work together, they must find a way to communicate.

This short feature will show how children of different cultural backgrounds interact with one another without needing words to convey what they need to say.
